Staff from the Town of Pulaski and the New River Valley Regional Commission hosted land use visioning sessions on August 8th and September 12th for the Planning Commission and on October 18th for the Town Council. At these sessions, the participants played a game called Built, which was designed locally to capture current and potential uses of space and planning values. The team was then asked to apply these concepts to review and analyze the town’s Future Land Use Map and development policies. Questions were posed to the group about the desired future development patterns and evaluate alternate future land use scenarios.
