In partnership with the region's local government planning staff, the 2026 Planning Commissioners Training was an evening of education, fun, and fellowship. Hosted at the Montgomery County Government Center, Planning Commissioners played a competitive game of Planners Jeopardy (PLAN-eopary!) and heard a presentation about Data Centers from Botetourt County. This annual training is always a highlight of the year and a great way for Planning Commissioners and staff from around the region to network with their peers and expand their knowledge, with a twist of fun.
