The Regional Commission assists the Virginia Recycling Association (VRA) in a support role to plan and manage their events and assist with administrative tasks. The VRA held its annual conference along with the Solid Waste Association of North America, Old Dominion Chapter in Virginia Beach, VA. There were approximately 300 people in attendance and presentations included the use of AI in the recycling field, planning for the future of recycling and waste reduction, and industry updates around the state. The Regional Commission was pleased to be a part of another great event with the VRA!
