This ride follows the short section of the annual Wilderness Ride, which is held in Christiansburg during the month of June. While traveling along rural roads, the ride passes by many historic spots in Montgomery County. This variation extends the ride by following the Bike Centennial Route into Radford to meet with the ride around Claytor Lake.

Starting Point: Montgomery Museum on Pepper St. in Christiansburg.
