Patrick Ford

Patrick Ford serves as the Community Resiliency Coordinator at the New River Valley Regional Commission. He will help our community recovering from Tropical Storm Helene and the 2025 Winter Storms navigate the Virginia Disaster Assistance Fund. Patrick earned degrees in Government and Foreign Affair and Theatre from Hampden-Sydney College where he focused economic development and won the Porterfield Award for community outreach through the medium of theatre.

Patrick's professional career is mixed between community development and engagement as Program Director for Pulaski On Main, and Managing Editor at the Southwest Times. Before joining NRVRC, he worked in logistics as Inventory Controller for DoD contractor, Pyrotechnique By Grucci. This mixed bag of experience has molded his holistic approach to community engagement and support.
